Who is behind Prize Draw UK?
We are four regular people who love comping and share a passion for winning prizes! We were bored with the terrible odds offered by sites like the National Lottery, Premium Bonds and Omaze, due to the massive amounts of people allowed to enter, so, we launched Prize Draw UK to give regular people a real chance of winning excellent prizes for only a small entry cost, whilst having some fun as you go!
Where is Prize Draw UK based?
We're based in Nottingham in the Midlands, although we can send prizes right across the UK.

General FAQs
Where can I watch the live prize draw?
You can watch the prize draw live at the advertised date and time on our Facebook page.
What happens if you don't sell all the tickets?
Unlike some other competition websites, if we don't sell out all the tickets for a competition we will draw a winner anyway! We never extend the draws, or give a smaller 'cash prize alternative'. Please do avoid sites that do this.
Do you set a minimum amount of ticket sales for each draw?
No - we'll draw a winner on the date and time specified, even if we've only sold 1 ticket! Unlike some other competitions, our competitions are never extended - there are no excuses, the draw happens regardless.
When does each competition close?
You will see the closing date and a countdown timer on each draw. Unlike other popular competition sites, we set the closing date and time when we post the competition, and the draw takes place on that date/at that time regardless of how many tickets are sold. That means if only one ticket is sold, we have our winner!
Can I come and watch a live draw?
Currently we do not allow visitors to the studio for live draws, but you can watch the draw from any location via our Facebook stream.
Can I opt out of receiving your newsletter?
Of course. Click the unsubscribe link in any newsletter you receive. But be aware that a) we only send one a week! b) we have a monthly draw for subscribers - we publish the winner randomly in the newsletter and you have to contact us to claim, and c) we also run newsletter-only comps. So you'll miss out on all of that if you unsubscribe.
Can I opt out of receiving text marketing messages?
Yes. Just follow the STOP instruction in the text and we'll never text you again. You will only receive these if you've actually gone through our checkout. If you receive a text and haven't gone through checkout, please drop us an email: hello@prize-draw.com.
Winning/winner FAQs
Do you charge postage for delivery of prizes?
Absolutely not! You should never, ever be asked to pay anything for the delivery of a genuine prize. If this ever happens, the website you are on is probably a scam. It's worth noting that by law, if a promotional ‘free draw’ requires you to make payment for delivery fees, this could be an illegal lottery (see paragraphs 4.4 and 4.6 (v) of the Gambling Act 2005).
Will you notify me if I have not won a prize?
Yes, you get an email notification confirming if you have not won a prize, which will tell you the competition that it relates to.
How do you choose a winner?
You will receive a ticket number for each entry. We use a random number generator (Rafflys) to choose the winner for each draw. This takes place live on social media and you will be able to watch the process clearly on our screens.
What are the odds of winning a prize on Prize Draw UK?
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries we receive but you can always calculate these easily. If 50 tickets have been sold and you buy 1 ticket, you have a 1 in 50 chance of winning (2%). You can increase these odds by purchasing bundles, which are also discounted.
How will you contact me if I have won a prize?
We'll try to call you during the live draw but don't worry if that's not convenient! We'll contact you by email and phone, as provided to us in your account area. You need to make sure that the details provided to us are correct and up to date because we need to make contact within 5 days of the draw date. You also need to make sure that an email from us has not gone into your spam or junk email folders, so add us to your safe sender list!
How will I know if I have won a prize on Prize Draw UK?
Winners are drawn at random on the date and at the time specified, in the live draw. You can watch the live draw on our Facebook page. All winners are contacted by email and telephone using the details they have provided. You can also see if you have won by logging into your account and visiting the competition page. The winner's name will be displayed shortly after the draw, along with a congratulatory message if you are the winner!
Who draws the winners?
The winners are drawn at random in our studio by our lovely presenter, Beth. Everything she does can be seen live, so you can follow the process.
Can I change my prize for something else?
No, we purchase or arrange all prizes before they are listed on our website, so exchanges are not possible.
Can I come and collect my prize?
Generally we are happy to post out prizes to you and we will insure them appropriately, but for large and breakable items such as TVs, we would be happy for you to come and collect your prize. Drop us an email and we will arrange a time with you.
What if my prize gets lost or damaged in the post?
We will use a service that insures your prize adequately so please contact us if the prize is damaged. We will usually ask for pictures and in some cases we may arrange a return. This is simply so we can reclaim the value of the prize from the delivery service.
