For any Guardians of the Galaxy fans, this free competition is an absolute must! Lego Marvel Dancing Groot (76297) is a really fun build and once assembled, you can turn the handle at the back to make Groot dance. Groot has a movable head and posable arms, plus accessories that allow for personalisation, including buildable headphones, sunglasses, and extra leaves. You can choose from three different nameplates to attach to the front of the pot, one of which is inspired by the I Am Groot TV show. All accessories can be neatly stored in the built-in compartment within the pot, ensuring they don’t get lost.

This 459-piece set is aimed at age 10+ and having built one of these with a 10 year old, we’d say that age is about right. The base requires a bit of care so that the mechanism for Groot dancing works properly, and the body can be a bit fiddley. Younger children would likely get frustrated with it although it would likely be achievable with some patience, the Lego builder app and a bit of parental guidance,

Once fully assembled, the model stands over 22 cm (8.5 inches) tall and it makes a lovely addition to your kid’s bedroom.
